FIRST of all onion raw material, but from Indian farmers of various states. Mainly Gujrat and Maharashtra main producers of raw onion. All raw onion first comes to sell at marketing yard. Marketing yard is common place buy raw onion in wholesale.
Before we buy raw check for quality. After conform quality we purchase raw onion. And send raw onion in a factory. After a reach in factory raw onion peeling buy machine or manually.
After peeling a raw onion, wash by two water. First wash in plain normal water than after a wash in chlorinated water. After wash onion sometime onion ready for cutting. All raw onion cut with cutter. Daily cutter can cut up to 20 tons raw onion. After cutting onions into onion flank it dried in a large imperial dryer. Onion flank dries up to 4 hours in imperial dryer.
Imperial dryer made radiator pipe and heavy capacity blower. It’s able to dry 75 tons raw onions in the day. After drying of onion flanks it passes out from hot dryer. Onion flank keeps up to3 hours and 30 min in hot dryer. After becoming onion moisture free it pass from cold dry. Now onion flanks separated by halar (separator) in different product like kibble, kapcha kibble, powder, skin, and kapcha.
